National Level Athlete & Professional Sports Trainer
I am Vijay Gadge, currently working as a Manager at ICRES in Mumbai. Alongside my professional career, I have passionately pursued sports, achieving milestones from district level to national level competitions.
My journey started at the age of 11 while studying in 5th standard. Coming from a small village called Wada in the Palghar region, I began my athletics training in a sports hostel started for Adivasi students under the guidance of coach Viswas Kulkarni.
My first achievement was winning a 3 KM marathon, which became the foundation of my athletics journey.
I went on to represent Maharashtra State in 13 national competitions and had the honor of serving twice as the captain of the Maharashtra team.
One of the proudest moments of my career was breaking two state records:
- Pole Vault
- Decathlon (10-event combined competition requiring high stamina and strength)
